Because these are from the same company and packaged in the same way AND part of the same series, you might think these would be easy to read books for beginning readers, much like the Biscuit Phonics books. They AREN"T. I'm a kindergarten teacher and was looking for more books for my class in the Guided Reading level A or B -- these are MUCH more advanced than that. I think they are poorly designed because by the time a child would be reading well enough to read these, they are not going to want to read little "starter" books that look like the Bob books or early leveled library books. I was upset that they sold them as "Phonics" books because they are in no way phonics books aimed at kids just beginning to sound out words.

Very easy to read for young children learning. However, both the Batman and Superman boxes contain some of the exact same stories. Also, many of the books use the same pictures over and over again. Something that even 5 year olds have pointed out to me.

I read the comments on this after I ordered it. Lots of people say they are not easy to read. There are a few hard words but it's like names that are hard. I have taken a few pictures of the word in one of the books so others can see what level they are. My daughter loves them and is so happy.

Okay for the price. Basically, a cheap price for "cheap" books so, not a "bargain", but priced "right" for what you get.My kids LOVE Batman. It keeps their interest which brings it up 1.5 stars. Minus one star for quality (more for quality control): a staple was misplaced in the middle of one of the books instead of the spine.

Nice set, but the books are really tiny. Much smaller than the box. We've purchased other phonics sets like this and the books have always been a perfect fit for the box. On this set, the box is the same size, but the books are way smaller. If the books didn't feel so small, is have given 5 stars.

I bought this for my nephew who just started Kindergarten amd who also is OBSESSED with Batman. I mean, the kid literally thinks he is Batman. So when I saw these I just knew I had to have them. When my nephew opened the box he was not only ecstatic, but his mom was happy too. The pictures are well done, and the captions very easy for an early learner. I would definitely recommend this, and I am considering buying him the Superman set as well.

My grandbaby recieved this for his 6 th birthday. He has been reading to me these books all the time ..they are AWESOME first reader starter books get them!!

This is a really fun way to get kids interested in reading. The books are smaller than expected but fit perfectly in my five year old's hands. The carrying case is nice as well. These books are a very good introduction to reading

I have the audible version. I listen while driving, it's extremely helpful.

This is good book for preparation. Format of the question were closer to the exam question than my book from real estate school.

Why is there a deed of trust question? NJ doesn't use them. It makes me wonder how state specific it really is.There are also typos and some wrong answers.Also, it would be much better if there was a page break before the answer so it's not visible right away.

I was looking for a "naughty" puzzle book (because naughty is so much better!) and this was the first book I saw that completely captured my attention! The cover is sexy-hot and I could not wait to receive it in the mail. Each puzzle has a specific category and a coordinating "naughty pic". The pics are sexy, yet tasteful. Some of the puzzle's categories are silly and funny, while others are more intimate. The words being searched are super fun! I had to ask my husband what some of the words meant, which definitely gave us both a giggle and rosey cheeks, many times! We even had to Google certain words which was super fun because it really opened our minds to trying new things in the bedroom (hehe, blush blush). I would recommend this puzzle book to anyone who may want to explore the bedroom more, who wants to add some intimacy into their relationship, or anyone who's single and is looking for a "spicier" puzzle! I love this book and I hope more come out!!

This book is to be used in conjunction with the textbook 1, it has comprehensive character writing and different modes of exercises for students to learn the materials better. If your school can afford these I'd get one for each student, other wise scanning and printing isn't a bad option either. I recommend it with the teacher's book too if you are teacher!

I have had diabetes for quite a few years, but recently was promoted to insulin status. I have been searching for a single source of information that was both simple and yet included more technical details of what was going on.The book does a very credible job of both for many aspects of diabetes. As an example, it provides a description how insulin works at the body and cell level, the effects of exercise, diet, timing, lifestyle, and many of the other factors that affect blood glucose levels. The descriptions start at a high level (e.g. exercise uses glucose in the blood, so levels tend to drop) to a more theoretical discussion of insulin interacting at the cellular level within your body and how your liver and other organs react.The same type of treatment is also provided for other subjects, ranging form what to do when you are sick; sex and libido issues; diet; types of insulin; managing diabetes around sports, exercise, work, travel, stress, family, entertaining; interaction of factors; complications of high and low sugars; and a bunch more.In short, there are no doubt books which cover individual aspects of any part of diabetes with more detail and rigor, but if you want one book that does a very credible job on most of the topics, this is a good choice.PROS: Very readable. Well organized- individual topics are fairly well indexed and broken down by topic, and for each topic, the discussion breaks down how this might affect different portions of the population (e.g. Type1, Type2, Gestational). Seems to be written by people who both have actual experience as diabetics and real medical knowledge. Does not have the latest fads. Reasonably up-to-date A lot of info for less than $10CONS: My guess is that different sections are edited by different people, so the same information can be repeated multiple times. Still, it does serve to make each section self-contained. Some of the stuff is a little obvious- such as the tip to shop around for best prices on insulin. Still, my guess is that no matter how obvious, someone probably never thought of it. Sections on health care coverage are so general as to be useless I would have liked to see more references included for nerds like myself who would like to read more technical reference on the subject. Sure, you can go hunt for them, but the authors no doubt had them at their fingertips.SUMMARY: An outstanding value, lots of good info. I had confidence that the material was good information, not someone's opinion

I was hoping for a little more after care/diabetes management with this book but overall it's pretty comprehensive. It spends a lot of time explaining the disease which is great as an introduction to those new to diabetes. Overall, I'm glad I bought it and it's helpful.

This is a great users guide & reference manual. I recommend this book for anyone that needs amplification regarding the many aspects of diabetes. If you know anyone recently diagnosed, or "lacking in knowledge" this is the book for them.

Very basic information. Needs better information regarding the development of an eating plan.

If you are serious about winning against your diabetes, this is the best place to start and to refer back too. It is well written, well organized and packed with useful information. Between what my doctor, dietician and this book taught me, I dropped my HBA1C from 11.3 to 7.1 is 3 months.
