I loved it!!!! It was a lot different from what I expected, but it ended up being the GOOD different after I got into reading it more. I blew through this thing in around 5 hours I was so hooked?Hands down my favorites in this order are: Sammus (of course), Honey, and the L'loi, because come on she's a sassy AI who's basically like the mom, who wouldn't love her??I was also very pleased that when it came to Honey's penchant for succumbing to her stubbornness and then making stupid decisions, I was not alone in admonishing her for it when about 3 other characters would at the same time. It was like a breath of fresh air every time. *sigh*Nevertheless, if you've wanted to read this book, please do so. I need to talk about my love for Sammus more, and can someone please give him a much needed holiday from all the drama? With a side of a piña colada while we're at it. Lol
I am so glad I purchased this book. I have been searching for something good to read for over a month now. It's been really hard with some of the books that are being published now, you really have to filter though a lot of junk to get to the good ones. I really enjoyed reading about this new world, with it's amazing characters. To me it reads like some of my favorite anime's. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good meaty read. Off to read the second book, I know I'll love it as well. Keep up the good work Mrs. Houston, you are becoming one of my favs. If this was made into an anime I would defiantly watch it.
Mostly Human by Antoinette Houston is an imaginative and unique story with colorful characters. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Honey faces some life changes that she nor most of this cast are prepared for. As such, she makes some unfortunate choices that don’t improve her current or future situations.With some intriguing (and sometimes annoying) characters, Mostly Human was a quick and enjoyable read. I’m looking forward to book 2.
Really wanted to rate it 3.5 but the app wouldn't let me.Great job on the heartsickness part of the characters.Needed more focus on main character condition. Maybe it'll get covered in the sequel?Weird obnoxious alien customs getting annoying.
this was a fun read. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a bit of a stumble getting started, but once the writer hit her groove, it really takes off. Plus, I loved the heroine. She seemed very real and that's what I liked.

I receive this book from the author for honest review.This was a awesome read. I love the main character Honey and Sammus. I also like setting and theme it was well put together. The storyline was just perfect put together. Love the hole leader thing with Honey and how Summus is their to help. I hope that they become something. Love the hole thing of human and aliens. Great sci-fi story. I never thought that I would like this book so much but I love it.I highly recommend this to everybody to read..Great Job! 💖💖💖💖
